Weather Forecaster Predicting Snow For The South East This Friday

Get those hats and scarves out, there’s a chilly Friday and weekend fast approaching…

Well respected Carlow weather forecaster Alan O’Reilly has predicted some snowfall for regions in the South East this Friday.

O’Reilly’s prediction is backed by the MetDesk charts, as they similarly predict “one centimetre of snow per hour in higher parts of the South East, with a light dusting of 0.5 cm in lower land areas between 12 and 3pm.”

Meanwhile, Met Eireann are not expecting any snowfall in the South East despite the drop in temperatures, and instead, they are predicting heavy rainfall across the region.

With the possibility of heavy rain or snow hitting the South East this Friday and across the weekend, one must latch onto the hope that Wexford Park will be able to host the Wexford Senior Hurling final on Sunday at 3pm.

Whether it’s snow or heavy rainfall, as always, people should take care.
