Wexford County Councillor George Lawlor gave a fantastic rendition of the Irish national anthem last night..
The rendition was for the lead up to the virtual Wexford Senior football championship, which was ran by former Wexford footballer Adrian Flynn over the past few days.
Castletown were named virtual Wexford Senior Football champions after a hectic victory over the Shelmaliers.
Although the song was sang in a light-hearted manner, George’s vocal talents are still quite evident. Across Wexford, his singing ability is widely recognised.
Not too long ago, he released ‘Cuchulainn’s Son’ about former Wexford hurler Nicky Rackard, and also gave a powerful rendition of Wexford classic, Bollavogue.
