An Enniscorthy football player has signed for an English football team…
Enniscorthy Town FC player Kallan Murphy has signed a deal with a football club in England. Murphy will be crossing the pond as he joins Chesterfield FC.
Last July, Murphy had a three-day trial with the English football club.
His now-former club Enniscorthy Town FC have wished Murphy all the best as he makes the move over.
Seventeen-year old Murphy will be playing with Chesterfield’s u-19 squad as the English football season recommences.
Chesterfield FC play in the National League, the fifth tier of English football, however, Murphy will be hoping to move up the ranks as he gains valuable experience playing abroad.
