Wexford’s Allianz League Hurling Games Priced At 18 Euro

The Wexford Senior Hurlers will be back in action on Saturday evening..

They will take on Kilkenny in the Walsh Cup and many are excited for the launch of the new floodlights at Chadwicks Wexford Park.

After the Walsh Cup, Wexford’s attention will then turn to the Allianz League fixtures.

Wexford will take on Galway in the opening game of the Allianz National Hurling League, which is penciled in to take place on Sat 4th Feb, at 5pm. In the next game, they’ll take on Westmeath (away). They are also fixtured to take on Clare, Cork, and then Limerick in the final round.

The GAA has revealed that it will cost €18 for adults to attend these games. For students and OAP’s, it will cost €15 to attend any game in the Allianz Hurling League (Division 1) group stages.

Whether it’s against Westmeath or Limerick, the price will remain the same.

Some users on social media are perplexed with the GAA’s decision to charge this amount to attend the game, while others have stated that it’s good value for money and that the GAA are not immune to various price-increases such as electricity.

The tickets are for sale through the GAA’s online ticketing system through Ticketmaster.

Whereas the tickets for the Division 1 hurling games are priced at 18 euro, the cost of tickets to view the Wexford Football team play in Division 4 currently stands at 10 euro for adults, and 8 euro for OAP’s and students.
