Multiple Wexford representatives secure title in women’s rugby Inter Pro’s

Multiple Wexford people represented their province over the weekend…

Leinster, who have multiple Wexford representatives on their Senior Women’s team, won the Inter-Pros.

Caoimhe Molloy, Natasja Behan, and Aoife Wafer who all played with Gorey Rugby Club were all part of the successful team. Alongside that, both Katie Whelan and Molly Boyne from Enniscorthy were also part of the squad.

They defeated Munster by 33 points to 14 in the final.

Speaking on the victory, Gorey’s Caoimhe Molloy stated:

“It’s always fun playing in blue. I loved being part of this squad and to top it off by winning the Interpros,” she said.
