New coffee business opens its doors at the Gorey Town Park

A new coffee business has opened its doors in Gorey…

It has been a long time coming, but there is now a new coffee shop opened at Gorey’s Town Park.

The business, namely The Coffee Pod and owned by Eoin Cullen and Sinead Cullen, opened its doors last month. They are open seven days per week and they will be opened to the public from 9am to 6pm daily.

The Coffee Pod café has both indoor and outdoor seating facilities, with public toilets inside, which the owners stated is a “welcomed facility.” For those on the move, there’s also an option to get a coffee to go from the “hatch” located at the side of the Coffee Pod.

They will also be selling ice-creams, scones, pastries, cakes and in the future, they hope to introduce soup, sandwiches, and home-made brown bread.

At the park, there’s always a nice bit of footfall given the amenities that exist there. At the park, there’s a skate park, a children’s playground, and a walking trail for all to enjoy.

The Coffee Pod will be organising a host of events for Halloween and Christmas time too.
