The Wexford Senior Football Championship is well and truly underway…
Shelmaliers and Kilanerin are in flying-form in the Wexford Senior Football Championship. Neither team has lost a game in their four games to date.
Both will battle it out for the top spot in the final group game, but it’ll be interesting to see whether they’ll show their full-hand given both are already guaranteed qualification into the quarter-final stages of the competition.
In the other group, Castletown have also maintained a perfect record, winning their four games too. Glynn-Barntown are second, sitting on 6 points.
At the start of the campaign, we reported that Kilanerin were priced at 12/1 to lift the trophy. The major bookmakers such as PaddyPower and Boylesports have since slashed Kilanerin’s odds.
Kilanerin’s odds to lift Wexford SFC silverware in 2023 are now 3/1.
Glynn Barntown. 12/1.
HWH Bunclody. 25/1.
St Annes. 50/1.
