Former Wexford Senior hurling manager to take part in Ireland’s Fittest Family as contestant

Two former Wexford Senior hurling managers will soon be on the telly together…

That is after Colm Bonnar, and his family, have been selected to take part in this year’s Ireland’s Fittest Family for the new hit series.

He will be joined in the background by another former Wexford Senior hurling manager, Davy Fitzgerald, who is the mastermind behind the programme.

Bonnar served as manager of the Wexford senior hurling team for three seasons and, after a period away from inter-county management, took charge of the Carlow senior team, with whom he has won Christy Ring Cup and Joe McDonagh Cup titles.

Ireland’s Fittest Family will be back on our screens from next Sunday, with the first programme of the new series starting at 6:30pm on RTE1.
