Could you be Wexford’s fastest, fittest, brightest online Scavenger Hunt team or family?
Well, if you think you have what it takes then you’re asked to register now on www.calmast.ie for a free, online Family Scavenger Hunt beginning this Saturday and concluding on Sunday as part of Wexford Science Festival.
Join international edutainer Steve Sherman, Chief Imagination Officer of livingmaths.com, in this wacky and wild science scavenger hunt. Fast paced and action-packed, Steve will keep you on your toes as you endure brain teasers, physical challenges, games and activities in a bid to be crowned Wexford’s Smartest Science Scavengers!
Calmast Director and Festival organiser, Dr Sheila Donegan, expects that competition will hit fever pitch as the event is one of the last in what has been an action-packed and very well supported Wexford Science Festival.
“If you think you have what it takes to beat other families in Wexford, then bring it. We would ask intending competitors to please note this is going to be a team event and you need to have a minimum of 2 people in your team.
“You will need a device to take part (mobile phone, tablet, laptop or pc). Sign up your family for the Scavenger Hunt on the Calmast website here. Instructions will be emailed to you just before the event commences,” she explained.
Participants will have the entire weekend to complete the challenges. They are designed to accommodate all ages and abilities and creativity is highly recommended. As with all of the Science Festival events, entry is free but pre-registration is required.
