American singer coming to Wexford for free gig at Frank’s Palace

An American singer will be coming to Wexford next March and there is already some excitement building at Frank’s Palace…

Eli Lev, who has Andorran roots but is from Silver Spring, Maryland – United States (with Andorran roots, will be coming to Wexford for a gig.

Rising singer-songwriter Eli Lev is making the world a smaller place, one song at a time. Eli pens lyrics and melodies for everyday enlightenment—songs that resonate because they’re heartfelt, earthy, and offer the wisdom he’s gained through lifelong travel and self-discovery. His latest project, an EP called ‘Present Journey,’ is inspired by his current life stage as a middle-aged, full time independent musician who is a mobile lifestyle pioneer and international touring artist.

His previous release, The Four Directions Project, imaginatively and intrepidly connects spheres and generations within a body of work that is irresistibly uplifting, emotionally resonant, and down-to-earth. A cross between The Avett Brothers and The Lumineers, Lev has opened for both Shooter Jennings and Lee DeWyze, performed at The Kennedy Center and 9:30 Club in Washington, DC, and toured extensively within the USA as well as abroad.

Amber Frost from Last Call Entertainment had some kind words for Eli:

“Eli Lev is the consummate professional and has been one of my top performing artists over the years as venues continue to ask for him back year after year,” they said.

Speaking to Wexford Weekly, Eli stated that he has never been to Wexford before, but he’s looking forward to the trip and the gig.

“I haven’t been to Wexford so I’m looking forward to visiting the beach and checking out the West Gate Heritage Tower and Abbey,” he told us.

Wexford will be just one of his stops in Ireland.  He told us that he will “be adding additional performances in Ireland and they are still actively being scheduled. Those performances can be found on my calendar.”

The free gig will take place Frank’s Place 1860 starting at 7:00 PM.
