The Wexford Food Family is a not for profit network of food producers dedicated to growing the Wexford Food industry in our county through growing the business of our members. Their aim is to make Wexford’s food industry the strongest in Ireland.

The Wexford Food Producers Network CLG trading as ‘The Wexford Food Family’ is pleased to announce the appointment of Stacey Williams as Interim Managing Director with immediate effect.

Stacey Williams joins The Wexford Food Family to lead and oversee the company and deliver the overall development of the organisation. Stacey will work closely with the Chairperson and Board of Directors to act on behalf of the members, strategic partners and supporters of the organisation.

Speaking about the appointment Trudie Power, Chairperson, The Wexford Food Family said:

“Since inception The Wexford Food Family has provided a support network to cater for the needs of Wexford food producers, Wexford retailers and the Wexford hospitality and tourism sector. As the organisation moves forward, our core aims and objectives remain to promote the produce and brands of The Wexford Family members, sponsors and supporters. In recent years the organisation has grown in size and now has the potential to grow and develop working with the support of Wexford Co.Council,Wexford Local Enterprise Office, Wexford Local Development (LEADER) and national agencies such as Bord Bia, Bord Iascaigh Mhara and Ornua –The Irish Dairy Board.
The Wexford Food Family is now moving to an exciting time of transition and change. With members ranging from a one person start up to large exporters, our continued aim is to support local food producers, to build a sustainable food industry and to contribute significantly to the Irish economy on a local, regional and national level. The Wexford Food Family brings together Wexford food producers to act as a collective. The Wexford Food Family provides a centralised, member representative and member led organisation to promote Wexford produced foods to a wider audience both locally, regionally, nationally and internationally via the export markets. We value your support as we continue to work towards our organisation’s restructure and forward national and international promotion.
We are delighted to welcome Stacey Williams as Interim Managing Director of The Wexford Food Family. Stacey has been working at the highest levels in the Irish tourism, hospitality and food sectors across the island of Ireland and overseas for the duration of her twenty five year career. Stacey Williams has a proven track record in successful organisational management and she has significant experience and key relationships which we hope will bring the produce of The Wexford Food Family members to a much wider audience.
