The Wexford u-20 hurlers return to action this weekend…
They will take on Laois and they need a win to progress straight to the quarter-final stages of the Leinster Championship.
In the previous game, the Wexford u-20 hurlers lost out heavily to Kilkenny. A loss for Wexford against Laois will see them enter into the preliminary quarter-final stages.
Wexford u-20 manager, Aidan O’Connor, has named his Wexford u-20 side.
Wexford will be delighted to have Eoin Whelan back in the full-back position after he missed out in the last game due to injury. The towering full-back played a pivotal role in last year’s competition, starting in the same position.
As mentioned in our analysis after the Kilkenny clash, Jake Molloy would be pushing for a place on the team after his direct running game impressed Wexford supporters in the stand. He has found himself on the starting fifteen this time, starting at corner-forward.
Charlie Roark, who started center-back in the Kilkenny defeat, has not been named in the starting fifteen at all – and instead, he has dropped to the bench.
