Wexford hurlers handed boost ahead of upcoming Galway clash

Wexford’s next match is a home clash against Galway next Saturday in Wexford Park…

After the Wexford Senior hurling team disappointingly lost out to Antrim in Corrigan Park on Saturday afternoon, their attention now turns to Galway at home…

In their previous games, Wexford lost out to Antrim by two points and then in their first game, they drew with Dublin.

As part of a double-header at Wexford Park on Saturday, Wexford will take on Galway in their bid to get their first Leinster Championship win of the season.

According to a report in this week’s Wexford People, Wexford have been handed a boost with the addition of Liam Ryan back in contention. The Rapparees full-back has not played one minute with Wexford this season, being ruled out of the Allianz League and the Leinster Championship through injury.

After publishing this article, it has now emerged that Jippo has been named in the panel, but he has not earned a place in Keith Rossiter’s starting fifteen after the team was released to the media on Friday morning.

The betting odds, stream details, previous championship results, and much more can be found in our previous preview article.
