Wexford kids Alife and James shine on their Late Late Toy Show appearances

The Late Late Toy Show is one of the most important dates of the calendar leading up to the Festive season in Ireland…

For many, it coincides with the turning on of the Christmas lights in their localities and it really marks the beginning of the Festive period.

One Wexford boy, Alife, who is just aged seven, was one of the stars of the show. Alfie, who is a huge wrestling fan, showcased his wrestlers to Patrick Kielty and the audience at RTE. Along with that, he also showcased the hot-wheels and Godzilla. Aflie also said that he does “yoga after school” and highlighted how he does it, with the help of Yoga Goat. Funnily, the last toy he displayed to the audience was a fart gun, messing that host Kielty had farted while practicing yoga to laughs from the audience.

Another Wexford boy, James Murphy, aged 6, from the village of Camolin in Wexford, was one of the lucky applicants to be accepted to feature on the show.

James, a Senior Infants student in Ballyduff, drove a BMW 507 onto the Late Late Show stage while waving to the crowd as part of the 32 County parade piece which showcased one kid from each county in Ireland.

Both James and Alife were two of the 5,000 boys and girls to apply to be on the historic Late Late Toy Show for 2024.
