New dawn for Wexford restaurant as duo take over ownership

There’s some changes coming to a Wexford restaurant…

The restaurant at the Enniscorthy Golf Club will be under new ownership with immediate effect.

Enniscorthy duo, Conor Kelly and Declan Byrne, will take over the management of the restauraunt effective from Tuesday 18th February 2025.

Declan worked as the front of the house under the previous ownership, while Conor worked as the Head Chef under the previous owners too.

A spokesperson for Enniscorthy Golf Club stated:

“We wish the boys the best of luck and urge our friends and members to lend the boys as much support as they can,” they said.

Along with the change in ownership, the Enniscorthy Golf Club restaurant will now operate under a new name. The new name, with new branding, has been suitably called ‘The 19th’.

The 19th Bar and Restaurant will serve drinks and food seven days per week.

It’s not the only news regarding changing in ownerships of Wexford restaurants recently. Just last week, it was announced that popular Gorey restaurant – Katie Daly’s – will re-open under new management too.
