All confirmed as Wexford’s David Kennedy pencils in new fight date

Wexford’s David ‘Bomber’ Kennedy will be in action again before we even know it…

One of Wexford’s newest professional boxers, David ‘Bomber’ Kennedy, has pencilled in a fresh-new date, with his next pro-boxing bout confirmed.

Kennedy, who is 1-0 in the professional boxing ranks, has confirmed his next fight date.

His next fight will take place on April 12th. The card is entitled “A night of Champions” and it is a joint promotion from both Conlan Sport and JB Promotions.

The event, to the delight of Kennedy’s large support base in Wexford, will take place at the National Stadium in Dublin. It’s a venue where Gorey man Kennedy will be no stranger to, winning multiple National titles here. As it’s just a one-hour drive from Gorey to Dublin, we can again expect another large support heading up to the National Stadium for David ‘Bomber’ Kennedy’s next pro fight.

Speaking about the announcement, Kennedy said:

“I’m delighted to announce that I’ll be having my second pro fight in the National Stadium. It’s going to be a brilliant night of boxing with some big domestic fights on it. Thanks to both JB Promotions and Conlan Sports for having me on.”

Another Wexford boxer – Dean Walsh – will also be fighting on this card. Although Walsh will be looking forward to the April 12th card, he will be only taking it one fight at a time, as he is pencilled in to fight in England next Saturday on March 1st, an event promoted by FightZone. Meanwhile, Wexford’s Dean Gonzalez Furlong is also awaiting fight news; it’s believed that he could be fighting on this same card.
