Three new state-of-the-art childcare facilities launched in Wexford developments

Wexford Low Energy Homes have announced a strategic partnership with Zenith Childcare to bring state-of-the-art childcare facilities to it’s three leading developments in County Wexford…

This collaboration marks a significant milestone in creating vibrant, family-focused communities in the region.

The new purpose-built childcare facilities will be located in the developments of Gleann an Ghairdín, Gorey; Forgelands, Old Forge Road, Enniscorthy; and Ard Uisce, Wexford Town. Collectively, these facilities will accommodate nearly 400 children, offering parents in the community a modern, safe, and enriching environment for their young ones, on the doorstep of their homes.

Enhancing Family-Friendly Communities

Scheduled to open from late 2025 through 2026, these childcare centres are designed with families in mind, ensuring convenient access to high-quality care and educational spaces right within their neighbourhoods. Each facility will feature thoughtfully planned layouts, including a specially designed sensory room to provide children with a space to explore and enhance their sensory needs.

“This partnership underscores our commitment to building communities that not only offer energy-efficient, high-quality homes but also include essential amenities that enhance the lives of our residents,” said Dan Morrissey from Wexford Low Energy Homes. “We’re thrilled to collaborate with Zenith Childcare, whose expertise will bring exceptional services to our Gorey, Enniscorthy, and Wexford Town developments.”

Raising the Standards of Care

Zenith Childcare, renowned for its child-centric approach and focus on quality, is excited to extend its services to Wexford, with operations already located in Cork and Limerick. Through this partnership, Zenith will provide childcare infrastructure designed to meet the specific needs of children aged 1 to 6. The facilities will be built with input from Zenith on design and operational flow, ensuring they meet the highest standards of care.

“One unique aspect of these Wexford childcare centres is the inclusion of sensory rooms,” said Charlene Roche, CEO of Zenith Childcare. “These spaces will allow children and staff to enjoy much-needed breakout areas to foster sensory development. Through this collaboration with Wexford Low Energy Homes, Zenith is proud to enhance childcare accessibility for nearly 400 households in County Wexford.”
