One Wexford hurler has been nominated for an All-Star award for 2025…
In 2025, the Wexford Senior hurlers failed to get out of the group stages in the Leinster Senior Hurling Championship – but one hurler, Lee Chin, was a shining light throughout the campaign for the Model County.
A meeting of GAA correspondents from across print, tv, radio and digital media and chaired by Uachtarán CLG Jarlath Burns, adjudicated yesterday on the elite list of 45 nominees which is split across three goalkeepers, 18 defenders, six midfielders and 18 forwards.
Faythe Harriers clubman, Lee Chin, has been nominated for an All-Star award.
“Congratulations to Lee Chin on being nominated for the PwC Hurling All-Stars 2025. It’s a fitting reward for another year of great performances in the Purple and Gold,” a spokesperson for Wexford GAA said.
Meanwhile, Chin’s club team also congratulated their player on his recent nomination:
“Well done Lee once again on your All Star nomination for 2025. Some outstanding performances in the purple and gold and a fitting recognition once again of your leadership on the Wexford Senior hurling team,” they said.
The All-Stars selection will be announced on Friday November 7, in a ceremony held at the RDS and broadcast live on RTÉ.
Lee Chin won his first and only All-Star back in 2019, when Wexford were crowned Leinster Champions after defeating Kilkenny – before losing out narrowly to Tipperary in the All-Ireland semi-final.
