Wallace’s Homevalue in Wellingtonbridge, Wexford, has officially launched DID Essentials – a new in-store concept that brings essential home appliances to local customers, all at exceptional value…
This launch marks the first rollout of DID Essentials within the Homevalue Group, combining the strengths of two Guaranteed Irish retailers to offer even greater choice for Wexford households.
The in-store experience has been fully reimagined to showcase a curated collection of premium brands including Ninja, Shark, Kenwood, Whirlpool, Eufy and Samsung.
The DID Essentials range focuses on everyday convenience, reliable brands and great prices, making it easier for customers to shop home appliances alongside their DIY and hardware needs. The zone is now a permanent feature at Wallace’s Homevalue and is supported by trained staff who can offer product advice and after-sales support.

Joseph Wallace, Wallace’s Homevalue Store Owner, said:
“This partnership is about giving local customers more choice, more value and more convenience under one roof. We are proud to bring the trusted DID Essentials name into Wallace’s Homevalue, and the feedback so far has been phenomenal. People love being able to pick up their everyday essentials right here in Wellingtonbridge without having to travel into town or wait for delivery.”
Speaking to Wexford Weekly, Ciarán McCormack, Managing Director of DID Electrical, added:
“We are delighted to partner with Wallace’s Homevalue on the first DID Essentials store-in-store launch. At DID, we are always looking for new ways to bring essential appliances closer to Irish consumers. This collaboration with another Guaranteed Irish business is a brilliant example of two trusted Irish brands coming together to support local communities with better value and service,” Ciarán said.

The launch event, held on Friday 26th to Sunday 28th September, was a great success, drawing strong interest from local customers. Visitors enjoyed exclusive offers and a lively atmosphere across the weekend. The Beat 102-103 road caster was there, broadcasting live from Wallace’s Homevalue on Friday, bringing extra excitement to the launch day.
This successful launch marks the beginning of a wider partnership rollout, with six more DID Essentials planned for Homevalue stores across Ireland in the coming months.
