The Wexford Senior hurlers will return to action this weekend….
After a lay-off following their win over Carlow, Keith Rosstier’s Wexford Senior hurling side will travel to Croke Park this weekend to take on Dublin.
Wexford are helped with the return of Lee Chin to the match-day panel, who starts at wing forward.
Mark Fanning, Damien Reck and Kevin Foley are the other most-experienced players who have been named on the side to face the Dubs in the Allianz Hurling League (1B).
Other than that, Rossiter has trusted his youthful side — with the likes of Simon Roche, Tomás ‘Tucker’ Kinsella, and Eamonn Wickham all eager to impress in a tougher test in HQ.
It’s an important game for both sides. Dublin have already lost to Clare — and they need a win here against Wexford to keep their promotion hopes alive. Likewise, a win for Wexford will put them, alongside Clare, in pole position for promotion to the top-tier.
The match has not been selected for television or streaming coverage on any platform.
Keith Rosstier has named his side for the upcoming clash.
