There’s some absolutely brilliant news coming out of Wexford GAA…
The upcoming Wexford hurling and football fixtures have been fixed as a double header in Wexford Park.
Who’s playing?
Wexford vs Dublin (hurling) and Wexford vs Limerick (football)
What’s it in?
The Wexford Senior hurlers will take on Dublin in Round 3 of the Leinster Senior Hurling Championship. Meanwhile, the Wexford Senior footballers will take on Limerick in Round 1 of the Tailteann Cup.
Times and date:
The double-header will take place on Saturday, 9 May.
Keith Rossiter’s Wexford hurling team will be up first (4pm), with John Hegarty’s Senior football team on directly afterwards (6pm).
Betting odds:
The bookies can’t see too much between the sides. It’s not surprising given these sides are hard to seperate in previous years. Last year, Dublin came out on top in a high-scoring affair in Parnell Park and in 2024, Wexford dropped a five point lead with just minutes to go allowing the Dubs to secure a draw in front of a packed Wexford Park.
Betting company Boyle Sports have released their odds for the upcoming clash, with Dublin as slight favourites to overcome the Yellowbellies.
Wexford 6/4
Draw 8/1
Dublin 4/6
