The pub, located in New Ross in County Wexford, is named Galavan’s Pub.

Located on Number 5 North Street, it is a substantial and historic four-storey property occupying a prominent position in the heart of the town, close to The Norman Garden, Bridge Street and John Street.

As one could imagine with a property placed on the Derleict Sites Register, the premises is in need of refurbishment.

“Formerly a licensed premises, the property now requires complete refurbishment, presenting an exciting opportunity for investors, developers or owner-occupiers to reimagine and restore a characterful town centre building,” the advertisment reads.

As with all properties on the register, the refurbishment needs to be done within a required time frame:

“It should be noted that the property must be restored back in to use within a timely fashion after the closing date of a sale, and this time frame is yet to be confirmed. In addition, there will be a buyback option in the contract in favour of Wexford County Council should the property not be brought back into use within this required time frame,” it reads.

The property is brought to the market by PN O’Gorman. The sale of the property is subject to Section 183 of Local Government Act 2001. More information about the propety can be found online on Daft.ie.
