After a second-half comeback by Wexford against Kilkenny, they’ll now face Galway in the Allianz National Hurling League quarter-final…
Fitzgerald’s men will have to travel to Pearse Stadium to face the Tribesmen, who will be eager to attain the win having fallen short to Waterford in their last encounter.
Fitzgerald’s charges will go up to Galway with their ears pricked though. While they’ll be aware of the mountain battle that awaits them, they’ll be quietly confident too after such a positive 2019 league campaign.
The details were confirmed earlier today by the GAA.
The game will be played at 1:30pm, Pearse Stadium (Galway) on Saturday 16th March.
The good news is that it’ll be part of a double-header, as the Galway Senior footballers will play Roscommon afterwards at 3.30pm.
