Two Wexford Players Handed Bans After All-Ireland Semi-Final Melee

A duo of Wexford minor hurlers have been handed bans after their involvement in a melee during their All-Ireland semi-final defeat to Galway…

Both Kyle Scallan and Cian Molloy have been handed suspensions. Faythe Harriers clubman Scallan has been given a two-match ban, while Molloy has received a one-match ban.

The ban will rule both players out of inter-county activity, meaning both can continue to play with their respective club teams for the rest of their campaigns.

Scallan helped his club team Faythe Harriers capture the minor premier hurling championship recently, while Molloy scored a cracking 1-12 in a premier hurling shield final, in which they lost out to Shelmaliers.
