Paul Galvin’s First Game As Wexford Manager Takes Place This Saturday

Hopefully, this is the start of a new dawn for the Wexford footballers…

Kerry native and three-time All-Star award winner Paul Galvin takes charge of the Wexford Senior Footballers this Saturday.

The Kerry man, who won four All-Ireland titles as a player with the Kingdom, will hope that his first step inter-county management – and his first game – is a success.

That won’t be easy task though.

It is expected that Galvin will name an inexperienced side to face Westmeath on Saturday and it’ll serve as a nice platform to view emerging inter-county talent.

Wexford play Westmeath in the first-round of the O’Byrne Cup this Saturday 07 December in St Patrick’s Park, which gets underway at 2pm.
