For the first time the Department of Health have given statistics on the recoveries in the Republic of Ireland. 55% of patients have now fully recovered.
An examination of the first 15,186 cases shows that 8,377 people have recovered.
Meanwhile, an additional 44 people have died since yesterday. This brings the death tally to a total of 730 people.
As of yesterday 20 April, Wexford have a total of 100 confirmed Coronavirus cases. The Department of Health have since released today’s figures and Wexford’s number of confirmed coronavirus cases has increased significantly.
We must continue to practice social distancing, and to simply stay at home unless necessary.
