The whole world was turned upside down in 2020…
The Coronavirus pandemic greatly impacted the GAA’s already-condensed fixture schedule.
The GAA were in a predicament. Just a few weeks ago, it didn’t even look like games would go ahead for 2020. Thankfully, a decrease in cases nationwide allowed the GAA to revise their fixture plan and the return to sport is well and truly underway.
The revised fixtures have now been finalised and the Wexford Minor footballers have been drawn against Louth, which will take place on the weekend of October 17th/18th.
A win against Louth would see the Yellowbellies take on Kildare away in the Leinster Minor Football quarter-final on October 28th.
Meanwhile, the Wexford minor hurlers have been placed into a semi-final of the Leinster Minor hurling championship and their opponents have been confirmed for that clash too.
