Extra Garda Now Patrolling Min Ryan Park Due To Anti-Social Behaviour

Extra Gardai will be patrolling the area…

Extra Gardai and patrol cars have been assigned to the recently-opened Min Ryan Park in Wexford town.

The recently-opened fabulous amenity in Wexford town was subject to anti-social behaviour in recent days.

Some members of the public were outraged by the levels of anti-social behaviour at the park by a minority of youths. Both the Gardai and the Wexford County Council are now working together to minimise the level of anti-social behaviour at the park:

“Wexford Gardaí are aware of Anti-Social Behaviour issues involving youths at the newly opened Min Ryan Park in Wexford Town.

Extra Garda beat and mobile patrols have now been to assigned to the area to help with eradicating these problems. We are appealing to the public to report any issues in the park to Wexford Garda Station.

The park is a fabulous amenity and we are keen to keep the area as a welcoming community space for everyone just as it was designed to be. We are also working in conjunction with Wexford County Council on this matter,” a Garda statement reads.
