Back To Winning Ways: Wexford Boxer Niall Kennedy Stops Opponent In Third Round

Professional Wexford boxer Niall Kennedy returned to the ring today..

Wexford boxer Niall Kennedy, now faced Hrvoje Bozinovic on Saturday in Belgium.

Kennedy, also known as ‘Basil’ or ‘Boom Boom’, stopped his opponent, winning with a TKO in the third-round of the fight. The Gorey man attacked Bozinovic’s body throughout the fight and dominated from the beginning.

The show itself was part of St Patrick’s Day Showdown and an array of other Irish talent are due to fight in the event. The event, which starts at 3pm, costs a very reasonable EUR 9.95.

Gorey Garda Kennedy most recently lost to Alen Babic last October, but as expected, he comfortably defeated his opponent this evening and the popular Wexford man is now back to winning ways.
