Last Year’s Player Of The Season Joins Wexford Youths’ Women’s Teams

The Wexford Youths women’s team has been given a major boost ahead of the new season…

Wexford Youths women have signed Emily Corbett from Athlone Town.

Corbett was named the Women’s National League Player of the Season in 2022.

The young striker had a stunning season last year, scoring 20 League goals.

Wexford Youths Women FC Manager Stephen Quinn on the latest new arrival at Ferrycarrig Park:

“Everyone in the club are delighted to welcome Emily into the Wexford Youths family. Emily is a highly rated attacker who will give us an added edge this season with her work-rate off the ball, her quality on the ball and as she proved last season she knows where the back of the net is.”

Wexford Youths women stated that there are more signings yet to be revealed.

Wexford kick off the new 2023 WNL season away to Galway United on March 4th.

Meanwhile, in other Wexford football news, Wexford FC unveiled their new home and away jerseys for the upcoming season today.
