Quarter-final pairings revealed for Wexford Senior hurling championship

After five rounds of games, the Wexford Senior hurling championship is now in the quarter-final stages…

Following the five rounds and this weekend’s games, the quarter-final pairings have been confirmed.

St Martins will take on Crossabeg, the Rapps will take on Naomh Eanna, Ferns will be against Oylegate, while St Annes will be up against the Shelmaliers.

Both Faythe Harriers and Oulart-The Ballagh have retained their Senior status, but they will not feature again in this year’s championship, having came fifth in their groups.

Meanwhile, Glynn-Barntown will battle it out against Rathnure in a relegation final. The loser will drop down to the Intermediate Championship for next year.

The Intermediate Championship quarter-final pairings were also confirmed after this weekend’s games. The Tara Rocks versus Fethard game could be a serious game for a neutral to attend.
