Listen: Wexford musician creates song entitled ‘Give Marty Morrissey Back His Car’

A Wexford musician has released a new song…

It’s not the first time that Wexford musician, Liam Byrne, has found his way onto Wexford Weekly’s site either. Just a few weeks ago, he released a funny song celebrating ‘Thirsty Thursdays’ at Paddy Blues pub in Gorey.

Now, following the recent RTÉ scandal, Liam Byrne is back with another song. The song is entitled ‘Give Marty Morrissey Back His Car’.

“He borrowed that car one day to get out to Letterfrack. He borrowed that car one day but forgot to give it back. Marty Boy – it must have been some car. Was it a Porche or a jaguar? Did it have cruise control? Said Marty it did it me hole. It wasn’t a Merc or a Porche Cayenne – it was a 1.2 feckin’ Renault Megane. “
