It took a last second free-kick to secure the win for Glynn-Barntown in the Wexford Senior Football Championship last night…
Glynn-Barntown’s Aaron Kehoe stepped up to take the free – and to the delight of the Glynn supporters, the ball sailed over the bar.
The referee blew the whistle directly after the pressure-kick went over the bar. It meant that Glynn-Barntown defeated Crossabeg/Ballymurn by the minimum in a tight affair at Chadwicks Wexford Park.
