
Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow weather warning…
Wexford, along with several other counties in Leinster and Munster, will be impacted by the Status Yellow weather warning.
The Irish weather forecaster has predicted that there will be heavy rain with on Thursday and into Thursday night and Friday morning.
The Status Yellow rain warning has been issued for Carlow, Dublin, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Offaly, Wexford, Wicklow, Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary.
The forecaster, Met Eireann stated that “from this evening (Thursday) to Friday evening, persistent and sometimes heavy rain may lead to localised flooding, poor visibility and difficult travelling conditions.”
Motorists, in particular, are urged to drive with caution as road conditions may become quite hazardous in places.
As per the weather forecaster’s website, the weather warning is valid for 24 hours from 6pm Thursday 14th September to 6pm Friday 15th September.
