Wexford man named on combined Ring, Rackard and Meagher Hurling Team of the Year

A Wexford native has been named in the combined Christy Ring, Rackard, and Meagher Team of the Year…

Native of Wexford, Luke White, has been named in the combined Christy Ring / Nickey Rackard and Lory Meagher Team of the Year.

White played underage hurling with his club St Martins before following a career move to Donegal and eventually settling down there.

He has been Donegal’s number one shot-stopper for several years.

This year, he has been named on the GAA.ie’s combined Christy Ring/Rackard/Meagher Team of the Year entitled ‘Champion 15’, which aims to showcase and recognise the best starting 15 across the three competitions.

The accolade comes after Donegal were finalists in the Nicky Rackard cup earlier this year. Five other counties across the competitions were represented on the team.
