[Report] New front-runner for vacant Wexford u-20 hurling managerial position

It appears that there is a new front-runner for the vacant Wexford u-20 hurling managerial position…

Wexford GAA remain on the hunt to find the perfect man to replace Keith Rossiter in his role after Rossiter was promoted to the manage the Wexford Senior Hurlers.

Buffers-Alley club man, Aidan O’Connor, is the new front-runner to become Wexford u-20 hurling manager.

O’Connor managed the Rapparees last year in the Wexford Senior Hurling Championship, while he was the manager of the Wexford Minor hurling team in both 2019 and 2020.

It is believed that he has faced opposition from former Wexford hurler, Rory Jacob, who had his name in the hat for the position. Jacob was apart of Rossiter’s backroom team with the u-20 hurlers before Rossiter moved on to take the Wexford Senior hurling role, following Wexford GAA’s decision not to extend Darragh Egan’s contract.

The Wexford u-20 manager is still yet to be ratified by Wexford GAA.
