Wexford man leaves Senior hurling role after successful period in charge

A Wexford man has left his role in Wicklow…

Wexford man and Glynn-Barntown clubman, Paul Carely, has stepped down from his position in charge of the Bray Emmets Senior hurlers.

Carley took over Bray Emmets six years ago. In that period, he enjoyed a very successful period as manager of the Wicklow club.

During his time, he guided Bray Emmets to a historic five-in-a-row of Wicklow Senior Hurling titles. Alongside that, he also helped them to win a Leinster Intermediate title in 2022 and a Dublin League Division 4 title.

Bray Emmets thanked Carley for his incredible contribution to the club.

Bray Emmets are now currently on the look-out for a perfect replacement for Carley.

In related Wicklow hurling news, former Wexford Senior hurling manager, Liam Dunne, will take over the Glenealy Senior hurling team for the 2024 season.
