Wexford GAA have appointed their new Operations Manager

Wexford GAA’s search for a new Operations Manager (CEO) has concluded…

The former Operations Manager (CEO) of Wexford GAA was Gavin O’Donovan, but he decided to step down from the role in December. O’Donovan continued in the role until the end of January.

Wexford then started a recruitment process to find the next Operations Manager.

On Tuesday evening, March 12th, a Wexford County Committee was held online over MS Teams.

During the meeting, it was revealed that Conor Day would become the new Operations Manager of Wexford GAA, starting in his role next month.

“Cathaoirleach Micheál Martin informed the meeting that the recruitment process for the vacant position of Operations Manager has concluded. The interview panel recommended the appointment of Conor Day, who has accepted the position and who is due to take up the role on April 22nd next. Conor, from the St. Fintan’s club, has significant experience in project management as well as GAA administrative experience in Ireland and with Gloucestershire GAA,” a statement from Wexford GAA reads.

Conor was Project Manager at Gaeltec Utilities Limited, while he also worked as a Contract Manager for F&M Whelan Steel Engineering in Wexford.
