16-year-old Harnett scores first Senior goal for Wexford FC

There’s a 16-year-old bossing the midfield in the League of Ireland…

16-year old Kaylem Harnett plays for Wexford and he’s quickly becoming a fan favourite.

Harnett, who has represented Ireland at underage level, scored his first goal for the club at Senior level yesterday. After scoring in yesterday’s clash, he has become Wexford FC’s youngest ever scorer in their history.

Unfortunately, Wexford did not do enough to win the match, conceding two late goals for Longford Town to draw the game 2-2.

Harnett was also named the Man of the Match following his performance. It’s his second Man of the Match performance in recent times.
