All the details ahead of Wexford’s super Sunday clash against Kilkenny

It was described as a potential banana skin for Wexford, with Carlow showing their ability by drawing their previous clash against Kilkenny the previous week.

But it was utter domination by Keith Rossiter’s charges as they cruised to a 26-point victory. Their win over Carlow has now set up a Super Sunday of games. Wexford will play Kilkenny in Nowlan Park, while Dublin will take on Galway, both of which are now de-facto Leinster semi-finals.

It’s the final round of the Leinster Senior hurling championship. A win for Wexford will see them advance into the Leinster final. A win for Kilkenny will see them in the Leinster final. It’s essentially a Leinster semi-final now.

Kilkenny, being at home, enter the game as favourites for this clash. Kilkenny are priced at 4/11, the draw can be secured at 9/1, while a Wexford win is 5/2. The handicap, according to the bookies, is four points.

Tickets are almost sold out, with only behind the goal tickets remaining online. Tickets for the exciting clash are on sale via Ticketmaster and in both Centra and Supervalu retailers. Tickets for the stand cost €25, while terrace tickets on the City End cost €15. Behind the goal terrace tickets on the City End are the only reduced tickets available. Juveniles cost €5, while OAP’s cost €15.
