It’s not too early to start getting excited is it?
The Allianz Hurling League returns in January and excitement is already building ahead of the new season.
The Wexford Senior hurlers have been placed into Division 1A of the Allianz Hurling League against some of the heavy hitters. Wexford’s first clash will come against All-Ireland runners up, Cork, and it will be a home clash for the Yellowbellies. Wexford’s other home clashes will be against Kilkenny in Round 3, which will likely be played under lights. Wexford Park will also play host to Galway in the Allianz Hurling League. It means that Wexford will be travelling for away clashes against Tipp, Clare, and Limerick.
The provisional fixture details for the 2025 Allianz Hurling League have since been released to the County Boards. Please note that these fixtures are not finalised and that they are still subject to change.
Wexford’s Allianz League Fixtures 2025:
Round 1: Wexford vs Cork (Wexford Park) on Saturday Jan 26th at 3:45pm.
Round 2: Tipperary vs Wexford (Semple Stadium) on Sunday Feb 2nd at 3:45pm.
Round 3: Wexford vs Kilkenny (Wexford Park) on Saturday 8th Feb at 5:30pm.
Round 4: Clare vs Wexford (Cusack Park) on Sunday 23rd Feb at 1:45pm.
Round 5: Wexford vs Galway (Wexford Park) on Saturday 1st March at 5pm.
Round 6: BYE for Wexford
Round 7: Limerick vs Wexford (Gaelic Grounds) on Saturday 22nd March at 7:30pm
