Wexford on the look out to find their rose for Rose of Tralee

Wexford are currently on the look out to find their rose for the Rose of Tralee festival…

The Rose of Tralee International Festival is a celebration of Irish culture and heritage, connecting the global Irish community. The Festival is supported by over 70 Rose Centres globally in Ireland, the UK, Europe, Middle East, North America, Australia and New Zealand; with centres selecting a Rose bi-annually, such that a whole host of Roses from around the world enjoy everything that the Festival has to offer each year.

Applications have been open for entries to become the Wexford representative at the famous Rose of Tralee festival in Kerry.

The Wexford Rose selection night will take place on Friday June 13th, which will reveal Wexford’s Rose for the 2025 Rose of Tralee festival this August.

In 2023, Bronagh Hogan represented Wexford, while in 2022, Joy Quigley was Wexford’s rose at the Rose of Tralee festival.

The 2025 Rose of Tralee International Festival will take place from August 15th – 19th.

An entrant sponsorship fee of €300 is required for entrants based in Ireland.

The registration form must be filled in on the Rose of Tralee website, with a link to the registration form available here. Once the registration form is filled in, qualifying candidates will receive an application form.

The five-day festival culminates in the selection of the International Rose of Tralee, a year-long ambassador role for the woman who will represent Ireland and the Festival, both locally and around the world. Ireland’s flagship family festival, the Rose of Tralee Festival plays host to five days and nights of parades, gala functions, community events, entertainment, televised Rose Selection nights and much more.
