
Wexford Ladies Gaelic Football Association (LGFA) today announced the commencement of the search for a new Intermediate Team Manager for the 2026-2028 seasons…
The role is open to experienced and ambitious candidates who are keen to lead the county’s Intermediate side and contribute to the ongoing development of Ladies Gaelic Football in Wexford.
The successful candidate will be appointed for a three-year term, with an annual review to ensure sustained progress and alignment with the association’s strategic goals.
“We are seeking a leader who is not only a proven manager but also shares our commitment to player development and our High Performance Coaching Framework,” said Denis Nolan, Wexford LGFA Chairman.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual to join a progressive county board and work with a talented group of players. We are looking for someone with a strong track record who can bring enthusiasm, expertise, and a positive mindset to the role,” he said.
Key criteria for the role include a minimum of five years of management experience at a high level (senior club, inter-county underage, or senior inter-county), appropriate coaching qualifications, and a demonstrated knowledge of the LGFA Code of Behaviour.
The ideal candidate will also have an appreciation for sports science principles and be prepared to manage and contribute within the county’s comprehensive coaching framework.
