A new tech startup has emerged from the heart of Wexford town…
Local entrepreneur Martin Jordana has founded ChatAce.io, a company focused on bringing smart automation to small businesses through the medium of WhatsApp.
ChatAce is revolutionizing sales-focused communication by providing one of the market’s most affordable WhatsApp automation tools.
He only recently launched the business, officially setting it up and registering as a sole-trader last month in September 2025.

When describing ChatAce.io, Martin outlines a vision that merges technology with everyday business challenges faced by small entrepreneurs.
“ChatAce.io is a Wexford Town-based tech startup building a WhatsApp automation tool for small businesses. It helps entrepreneurs save time and boost engagement by automating chats, follow-ups, and orders without losing the personal touch.”
“I founded ChatAce after running two small businesses myself: Granja Jordana, a hot sauce brand, and Cookie Dude, a mall-based bakery. I know firsthand how hard it is to manage everything on your own and how easily customers can slip away when you can’t reply fast enough. I’ve seen that same struggle here in Ireland, and I want to help small business owners save time, stay responsive, and grow with confidence.”
“We’re currently gathering waitlist sign-ups and searching for an Irish ChatAce Ambassador, with plans to scale across Wexford, Ireland, and beyond. I also aim to launch Startup Wexford, a weekly meetup to connect local founders and grow tech innovation right here in County Wexford.”

His passion for technology runs deep, something that has been part of his life from a young age.
“Pretty much as far as I can remember, tech and how it works have always been pivotal to my interests. Paired with my dad’s passed-down entrepreneurial spirit, building a tech startup is something I’ve always dreamed of,” he told Wexford Weekly.
However, the journey of building a startup hasn’t been without its challenges, especially when it comes to growth and visibility.
“Resources, definitely resources. If I’m being more specific, it’s gathering enough resources to pour into marketing and sales efforts. That’s proven to be the most challenging and expensive. Arguably, even more challenging and resource-intensive than actually building a good quality product.”
He has hopes and ambitious plans to scale across Wexford, Ireland, Europe, and eventually the United States. When it came to creating his business plan, Martin relied on his own initiative and market research to shape ChatAce.io’s strategy.
“I made the business plan myself. However, this stemmed from first validating my idea with outsourced help as the initial step, which I did last November. We interviewed potential users, comprehensively studied the target markets, and competitors,” he told Wexford Weekly.
“To this day, as we build up interest for our waitlist, we’re still in the process of validating the product. This will also keep us in touch with the market. To sell, you need to know your customers and their needs by heart.”

Beyond growing his own startup, Martin is also passionate about strengthening Wexford’s wider tech ecosystem.
“There’s a bustling entrepreneurial community in Wexford, but really not a whole lot of tech startups. However, it’s my assumption is that there would be enough interest in Wexford town,” he said.
“I used to work for StartupBlink, a startup ecosystem research center – so, I understand the importance of building with the right environment. This wouldn’t only benefit me and ChatAce, but also Wexford’s future innovation. This is definitely something important to me.”
When asked why more tech startups haven’t taken root in Wexford, Martin points to the issue of talent migration, something he hopes to change:
“If not Dublin, ambitious tech founders move to London, or nearby hubs like Paris or Berlin. This is what we call ‘brain drain’. Unfortunate as it may be, with some nurturing, technology can be built from anywhere. And by the looks of it, Wexford has huge potential to become the next Irish hub alongside Dublin and Cork.”
With ChatAce.io, Martin Jordana isn’t just building a tool — he’s helping to build a movement. His vision for Startup Wexford and his belief in local innovation could very well mark the start of a new chapter for tech entrepreneurship in County Wexford.
