Four talented young Wexford boxers enjoyed a memorable outing on the national stage, bringing home an impressive haul of Irish titles after a series of outstanding performances…
Incredibly, three boxers hail from the same boxing club: St Abban’s Kilmyshall Boxing club, helped by their coach Johno Kelly.
First into the ring was Oscar Mardaski, who produced a composed and confident display to secure his national title. Boxing with great control from the opening bell, Mardaski won all three rounds against a very strong opponent in what proved to be a highly competitive bout. His calm approach and sharp boxing ensured he came out on top after an excellent contest between two talented young fighters.
Next up was Coady Byrne, who delivered a powerful and dominant performance to claim his own national crown.
Byrne controlled the action throughout the fight, winning all three rounds with a strong and determined display. After a challenging season in the ring, the victory was a fitting reward for the hard work and dedication he has shown throughout the year.

Rounding off a brilliant weekend for Wexford boxing, Sean Kelly also impressed with a smashing performance to add yet another Irish title to his growing collection.
Kelly’s latest triumph brings his remarkable total to eight Irish titles, underlining his consistency and talent at the national level.

It was a proud day for the club and supporters as the three young fighters showcased their skills, determination, and bright futures in the sport.
Lastly, Pearse Redmond of Na Fianna Boxing Club in Wexford was also crowned national champion after an impressive performance in the ring.
