Arsenal icon and former England captain Tony Adams is set to visit County Wexford next year as part of an exclusive four-day Irish tour…
The footballing legend will appear at the Talbot Hotel Wexford on Wednesday, March 3, 2027, for An Evening with Tony Adams, giving supporters the chance to hear first-hand stories from one of the most successful captains in English football history.
Widely regarded as one of Arsenal’s greatest-ever players, Adams spent his entire professional career with Arsenal, making more than 650 appearances between 1983 and 2002. As captain, he led the Gunners to four English league titles, three FA Cups, two League Cups and the UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup, becoming synonymous with one of the club’s most successful eras. He also earned 66 caps for England and captained his country on numerous occasions during an international career spanning more than a decade.
During the Wexford event, fans can look forward to a live two-part interview in which Adams will reflect on his remarkable career, sharing behind-the-scenes dressing room stories, memorable title-winning campaigns, famous rivalries and his experiences at the very highest level of the game.
The evening will also include question-and-answer segments, along with opportunities for supporters to meet Adams in person through dedicated photo and autograph sessions. Organisers say the event is designed to appeal to football fans of all ages, offering a rare chance to hear from one of the sport’s most respected figures in an intimate setting.
Three ticket options are available. Platinum tickets cost €200 (plus booking fee) and include premium seating, early entry, a professional photograph with Tony Adams and an autograph. Gold tickets are priced at €90 (plus booking fee) and include priority seating and a photograph with the Arsenal legend, while Silver tickets cost €45 (plus booking fee) and provide standard seating with full access to the event. Tickets are now on sale via Superstar Speakers.
The event takes place at the Talbot Hotel Wexford on The Quay and forms part of Adams’ four-day Irish tour of Ireland. With one of football’s greatest captains making a rare appearance in the south-east, organisers are expecting strong demand from Arsenal supporters and football fans across the region.
