Wexford Camogie Team Have Secured Their Senior Status For Another Year

It’s good news coming out of Slane this evening…

The Wexford Camogie team were in a relegation final this evening. Playing Meath, it was a huge game, as a loss would have relegated the team into the Intermediate Championship.

However, it’s good news for the Yellowbellies, as the Wexford Camogie team have defeated Meath by four points on a scoreline of 4-13 to 4-09.

Remarkably, it was their first win of the season – and it came at such a crucial time. But, even though they’ve secured their Senior status for another year, it’s a year to forget for the Wexford camogie team, a camogie team that have won Senior All-Irelands as recently as 2010, 2011 and 2012.
