Ballyhale Shamrocks of Kilkenny defeated Westmeath champions Clonkill in Mullingar this evening on a scoreline of 3-21 to 2-15.
After St Martins received a bye in the first round, they’ll now face Ballyhale Shamrocks in the Leinster Club championship semi-finals.
Ballyhale Shamrocks, who are managed by all-time hurling great Henry Shefflin, are the reigning Leinster and All-Ireland Senior club champions.
Last year, Ballyhale defeated Wexford champions Naomh Eanna at Innovate Wexford Park on a scoreline of 6-21 to 4-11, with 2019 All-Star award winner Colin Fennelly producing a masterclass with 4-04 from play.
Meanwhile, heavily tipped Cuala have been knocked out by Carlow champions St Mullins on the other side of the draw, while Laois champions Rathdowney Errill defeated Offaly champions St Rynaghs in the other quarter-final.

The St Martins semi-final will take place in an away venue on the weekend of the 16/17th of November.
