
The Wexford hurlers seem to be doing pretty well in the Fitzgibbon Cup..


Two college teams with strong Wexford contingents, IT Carlow and DCU, have made it into the semi-final stages and both have avoided each other.
IT Carlow recently defeated NUIG in the Fitzgibbon Cup quarter-finals.
One of the stars of the show was Rathnure’s Rory Higgins, who steered his college team to glory after finding the net twice.
With a very cheeky flick, Higgins also set up Kilkenny native Liam Blanchfield for his goal:
Meanwhile, in the same game, Oylegate’s Seamus Casey also found the back of the net:
