New figures released by the Department of Health this evening shows that there’s now 208 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in County Wexford.
This represents an increase of two Covid-19 cases in Wexford since yesterday, when there was an increase of four in the county.
Figures released today highlighted that 426 additional cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the Republic of Ireland.
The increase of Covid-19 cases in the Republic of Ireland today was due to a backlog from last weekend’s testing, according to CMO Tony Holohan.
It was also reported at today’s press briefing that another ten people have died in the past 24 hours as a result of the virus.
