Two New Positive Cases In Wexford, 426 New Cases Confirmed In Ireland

Another two cases of Coronavirus have been confirmed in Wexford..

New figures released by the Department of Health this evening shows that there’s now 208 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in County Wexford.

This represents an increase of two Covid-19 cases in Wexford since yesterday, when there was an increase of four in the county.

Figures released today highlighted that 426 additional cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the Republic of Ireland.

The increase of Covid-19 cases in the Republic of Ireland today was due to a backlog from last weekend’s testing, according to CMO Tony Holohan.

It was also reported at today’s press briefing that another ten people have died in the past 24 hours as a result of the virus.
